Toy Biz 2026 Wrap-Up: Here's What Went Down at Our Stall
Toy Biz 2026 has come to an end, and it has certainly left us with plenty to reflect on. The 17th edition of the event, held from July 4th to 7th at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, brought together an energetic mix of brands, buyers, distributors, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. Across four eventful days, we had the opportunity to showcase our latest offerings, connect with industry stakeholders, and gain valuable insights into the evolving world of play.
For everyone who follows OK Play but couldn't be there in person, here's a quick look at what made this year's Toy Biz particularly special for us.
We Finally Launched the Forest Series
One of the biggest highlights for us was the launch of our Forest Series. This is a collection we've been developing and refining for some time, and Toy Biz felt like the perfect platform to introduce it to the industry.
There was, of course, a sense of anticipation leading up to the launch. Bringing a new range to an audience of buyers, distributors, industry professionals, and competitors always comes with its own set of expectations. Seeing the response to the Forest Series, hearing the questions, and understanding how people viewed its potential made the experience particularly rewarding.
The nature-inspired range represents our continued focus on creating engaging and thoughtfully designed play solutions that can find a place across schools, parks, recreational spaces, and homes.
The Stall Was More Than Just a Display
Throughout the four days, our stall became a space for meaningful conversations and interactions. Visitors came not only to explore our products but also to discuss their experiences, requirements, and perspectives on the market.
We had the opportunity to meet new buyers discovering OK Play for the first time, reconnect with long-standing distributors and partners, and interact with entrepreneurs bringing fresh ideas into the industry. Each conversation offered a different perspective and helped us better understand what the market is looking for.
For us, this is one of the most valuable aspects of participating in an industry event. Products may bring people to the stall, but it is the conversations that create opportunities to learn, improve, and look ahead.
The Real Value Was in the Conversations
While the Forest Series launch was an important milestone, the conversations around it were equally significant.
Speaking directly with buyers, distributors, and industry professionals gave us insights that go beyond conventional market reports or sales data. We heard about emerging requirements, challenges faced by businesses, gaps in existing offerings, and changing expectations around play spaces.
Interestingly, some of the most valuable feedback wasn't directly related to our new range. Instead, it highlighted broader opportunities within the industry and helped us understand where the market could be heading next.
Understanding What Play Spaces Actually Need Right Now
One of the strongest takeaways from Toy Biz 2026 was the importance of functionality alongside innovation.
There is considerable discussion around creating innovative play experiences, but our conversations reinforced the importance of asking practical questions: What works when children use a space every day? How can products be designed to withstand regular use? What are schools, parents, and recreational spaces looking for today? And where are the current gaps in the market?
We came to Toy Biz with products to showcase, but we left with a clearer understanding of the requirements shaping the industry. These insights are important because they influence not only what we offer today, but also what we should be developing for tomorrow.
It's Never Just About the Launch
If there is one thing we continue to take away from events like Toy Biz, it is that a product launch is only one part of the larger journey.
For us, the real objective is to continuously listen to the people who buy our products, the partners who distribute them, and ultimately the children and institutions that use them. Their experiences and expectations help us build play solutions that are relevant, durable, and designed for real-world needs.
The Forest Series is the latest example of this approach, but certainly not the last. The conversations and insights from Toy Biz 2026 are already helping us think about what comes next.
Wrapping It Up
Toy Biz 2026 gave us exactly what we value from an industry event: the opportunity to showcase our latest work, meet the people who matter to our business, and listen to the market firsthand.
The launch of the Forest Series was certainly a significant moment for OK Play, but the conversations, feedback, and new perspectives we gathered throughout the event were equally important.
We are grateful to everyone who visited our stall, explored our products, shared their thoughts, and took the time to connect with our team. Your feedback continues to help us learn, evolve, and create better play experiences.
Here's to everything we learned at Toy Biz 2026, and to everything that comes next.
